POLICIES AND PROCEDURES

We are always mindful of the welfare of people visiting our building and have policies and procedures in place for
the protection of members, staff and the general public.

We’d like to particularly draw your attention to the following:

• All instructors and other staff (where appropriate) have been DBS checked.

• We have a safeguarding policy which is reviewed regularly.

• Risk assessments are in place and reviewed annually.

• Children under the age of 13 must be dropped off and collected by a parent, guardian or appropriate adult. We
ask that children aged 7 and under have a responsible adult in the building while they are training.

• Phone calls and other noises, for example games, music and videos, cause distraction to the instructors and
devalue the member experience. We therefore ask that calls are taken outside if possible and games etc are kept
at a very low volume, preferably with the volume off completely.

• Please limit interaction with instructors and students during training as it is unfair and disruptive to other students
   and spectators.

• No one is allowed to enter the training area without permission from an instructor or member of staff.

• Please exit the training area and premises as soon as possible after your class. This allows us to maintain a safe
   environment.

• Please do not enter the staff only areas.

If you wish to raise any safeguarding concerns to somebody outside of the club please contact:
